I mean, are we serious? How can you defend this way of thinking? And before I get labelled as a troll, I'm going to say that LFS is the only sim I play, despite having AC as well (believe me or not, I couldn't care less).
To be honest, it's like the devs themselves don't really care to bring back the old playerbase, or for what matters, to build a new one

Reinstalling the game and keeping the laptop in high performance seem to have stop the dips at 30 fps which is something, unfortunately not the same performance I used to have. But at least, I can keep playing LFS, which is nice hehe

Didn't you upgrade something when it started, like better GPU, or newer drivers (which are trying to save power more aggressively)?

It's a laptop, I can't upgrade anything if I wanted lol (aside from RAM and the SSD I installed long ago)

BTW I've done a fresh install and things seem a bit better

If that was the case, any other game would run badly, but this happens with lfs only.
Well, too bad it seems there's no fix to this. Looks like I'll have to quit LFS, since it's become quite annoying to play with these issues...

Downloaded Geforce Experience, updated the drivers but no improvements at all. Malwarebytes and Bitdefender say I'm good. Heat's not the problem either considering the fans spin slowly compared to other games.

Title is pretty much self explanatory, I can't get consistent even with low settings, and my pc isn't crappy either (i7 5500U, Nvidia 840M, 8GB RAM, i know, it's mediocre, but more than capable of running this game)
The thing is, it didn't use to be like this, I used to have 100 fps avg with much better settings.
Suggestions?

tbh putting the demo on steam would be the best, give a taste on it on steam, with a much wider potential, and those really interested would buy the game. But if things are bound to stay the same, there'll be only about a hundred people left still playing only because "muh lfs". Hopefully things will go for the best

How do I access the editor? Typing "/o dash" in game doesn't do anything for me

Uh, I think there's a bug with the racing cars' dashboards. If I redline the car, the RPM stay fixed on the redline, and won't go down unless I turn the engine off

Tbh, even if youtubers start covering LFS, the community won't grow any bigger.
The issue is that people want material, and with development this stagnant, you won't see new customers.
What if you were to buy LFS, and someone told you the VW Scirocco was announced 9 years ago, and it was never delivered?
Would you spend 36£, or even 24£, when you have alternatives like Assetto Corsa?
